If you’re paying attention, you know that the Church is in serious decline, or has effectively disappeared, as both a moral and spiritual force in most of the Western world, particularly those regions once considered part of “Christendom.” There are signs of hope in some parts of the world, but in the places where Christianity was born and made most of its history, let’s just say things are not good.
Our Lady encouraged regular prayer of the Rosary in each of her approved apparitions. Therefore, in the event it might be of some small help to others seeking to develop or deepen a devotion to the Rosary, herewith I offer an upload of the document I use to pray the Rosary. It is based on the concept behind a wonderful pamphlet published by the Rosary Confraternity in Portland, Oregon, called “Praying the Rosary Without Distractions”, which I also recommend highly. The document provides meditations for each mystery, including the Luminous for those so inclined. The meditations are mostly quotations from Scripture, the Douay-Rheims translation, although in a handful of cases, other writings are used. Sources are all attributed in the endnotes.
