Although this is a religious blog, the fact remains that all but a very few of our supposed shepherds, the Catholic bishops, spinelessly rolled over for the tyrants who ordered churches closed, even during Lent and Eastertide, for the impossible purpose of “stopping” a virus. This betrayal made those feckless bishops the enemies of the Church just as much as the Covid tyrants were—and still are. Never forget this. We cannot trust our shepherds any more than we can trust government officials, the mass media oligarchs, or unelected “experts.” Trust in the Lord, and your own intellect which is His gift to Men.

I’m probably being too harsh. But it sometimes seems these days that the bishops give orders to the faithful only in matters primarily secular in nature. And they often get them wrong. So it goes.
Hoping the Foxfier clan has a blessed and happy Easter!

They literally canceled Christmas.
And Easter.

And that’s before the folks who died, alone, because the churches were closed, adn that was their social outlet….

Yikes. That’s the sort of spiritual abuse of the flock that arouses righteous anger. I guess I’m not being too harsh after all.
